Indian Tabar Battle Axe

Steele Indian Tabar battle axe, I believe this is late 18th-19th century or earlier, crescent shape head with a square hammer opposite of the blade. Beautiful engravings on both side of the head and the full length of the handle.  I don’t really know much more about this item.
