B55 Dacron Flemish Twist Bow String Bundle / Recurve & Longbow / Archery

*NOTE* – You are specifying the string length, not the bow length. If your choose the number 54 and go with 14 strand, you will receive a 54″ 14 strand string, which is suited for a 58″ recurve or 57″ longbow. Please keep that in mind!
*NOTE* – The pre-installed cat whiskers will either be

depending on what I have in stock! I repeat, you will either receive black or grey cat whiskers with your bow string.
*NOTE* – For a RECURVE
bow, your string length will be 4″ shorter than your bow’s AMO length. For a LONGBOW your string length will be 3″ shorter. For example, if you have a 58″ Bear Grizzly recurve bow, you’d need a 54″ string!
*NOTE* – Also please note that RECURVE and LONGBOWS have DIFFERENT SIZED STRING LOOPS, so make sure you buy from the correct listing! If you choose to buy a string for your recurve bow, please make sure  this listing title specifies for recurve bows and vice versa.

Why order from me?
Aside from the additional accessories you receive when ordering from me, I make sure every string is made with precision. I will not ship out a string unless it is near perfection. I care about your feedback and want you to have the best possible experience from me! I build these strings with the intention for them to last years.
For example, check my center serving job compared to others. Not only is it straight, but I made sure to use the corresponding serving size in relation to the strand count as well as the right amount of tension to ensure a proper nock fit. I use Polygrip center serving. It should look near black if applied right. If you check other listings, it’s a zebra color, which indicates not enough tension leading to nock fitment issues and serving separation. I also make sure that the string is your specified length when twisted properly. Some strings will end up being x inches long after receiving it, but only if you twist into oblivion and at that point there’s kinks or uneven twists.
There are several other things I take into account to make every string consistent with each other and as top notch as it gets before shipment. Breakdown of price ($27.99)
After shipping, material costs, and Ebay seller fees I’m making about $20 per string bundle. It takes me a solid hour to make a string and a shorter amount of time making the string keepers and bees wax cubes. At the moment I’m aiming at $20/hr if you want to look at it in that way. You’re also paying for the experience that goes into making a quality string that will last you years if maintained, being just waxing the string every other couple uses. And If you have any issues with the string I’d be more than happy to send out another one! I want to make sure you have a positive experience from me.
String + Serving materials
BCY B55 – B55 from BCY is the perfect replacement for your standard B50 Dacron string material. B55 is made for traditional bows and introduces better durability and less stretch. This is the go to material for recurve and long bows. I will have more color options in the near future!
BCY Polygrip Serving – 100% polyester material. Grips very well. This center serving material was suggested by BCY to use in addition with B55 string material!
